Healthy Pores
Don’t wait, when you can have a more beautiful complexion in just a couple of weeks.
We’ve heard from so many acne sufferers who ALL tell us the same things:
You hate looking in the mirror
You are embarrassed, frustrated and angry
You feel like you don’t look good no matter how hard you try
You wonder if people think you have a poor diet or poor hygienic habits
You want to hide your face
Your skin is made up of two layers. The outer layer is called the epidermis and its surface layer is made up of dead cells that form a protective shield for the body. The dermis lies under the epidermis and is the living layer, which needs to be properly nourished in order to provide fast, strong new skin.
A healthy skin with a clear complexion means that these dead cells are shed continuously and replaced by fresh new cells.
But when you’re prone to acne, your natural exfoliation is not efficient at ridding the dead skin cells and eventually your pores get clogged up.
A common mistake is thinking that we should scrub harder to "get cleaner". In fact, scrubbing vigorously is not only hard on your skin, but AGGRAVATES ACNE AND MAKES IT WORSE!
Facial Scrub
Salicylic Acid is the active ingredient in Healthy Pores™ Facial Wash. An ancient solution to treating all sorts of skin disorders, we have incorporated this highly effective natural skin exfoliant for maximum effectiveness in treating stubborn acne.
Our research has shown that a 2% concentration of Salicylic Acid IS HIGHLY EFFECTIVE in clearing accumulations which block pores.
Regular users of Healthy Pores™ Facial Wash have been amazed at the disappearance of blackheads and whiteheads that have been trapped for years. A more radiant glow is another common result as healthy, open pores mean that new skin cells constantly replace old, exfoliated cells.
When we have outbreaks, there is inflammation under our skin and by rubbing hard against pimples, nodules and cysts, you risk the following:
Bursting the lesion and leaving scars
Lesions are bacteria filled, so rubbing hard can spread the infection to nearby tissue, causing more inflammation and possible scarring
Nodules are UNDER the skin, and if an infection is spread under the skin, this can cause a disfiguring scar, also called "pitting" or "pockmarking"
Blood vessels may be damaged or burst, which can lead to scarring
Skin tissue is delicate and rubbing hard can stretch the skin and compromise its integrity
When cleansing, pat your face gently with circular motions. It’s not the scrub action that determines how clean your face gets, but the products you use to clean it with that make the huge difference in whether or not your acne is controlled.
